Whats the comparison[comfort ,size] between RS3 buckets and Audi Supersports seats used in other RS,S variants ,DKs opinion would be appreciated .

I'm not DK but I can say that the RS4 buckets are loads nicer comfort wise and cuddles wise than the supersports. I am of average build.

the Buckets for me make a big difference when pushing hard you feel more connected to the car the supersports just not that supportive and in the 4 comfortable on long journeys

Nicky you read it wrong ,comparison between RS3 buckets and Audi Supersports seats im large build 15st ,there are 2 2013 RS3s for sale fancy a change and im having a brain fart at the moment thinking of test driving them but i dont want to do anything i may regret.

Or RS 3 buckets vs. std RS 3 seats?

I will comment on the former.

I had supersports in my RS 5, changed to buckets and OMG what a difference...in looks and in feeling.

I had a pic of 1 ss and 1 bucket in the car and it really highlights how clunky the SS seats are in comparison.

But once your in them, it transforms the feel of the car, you feel more connected.

Also, the buckets are much lighter than SuperSport seats.


If you are referring to std RS 3 seats. They are not SuperSport seats. They are supershite A3 seats

From what I recall there isn't any difference between the RS3/4/5 buckets. Certainly feel the same to sit in. I would buy them and not look back.

DK its the RS 3 buckets vs. SuperSport seats im going to Tamworth Audi where they have both to try but the one with buckets is too old and too many miles for me ,Nicky I've got an elderly parent who relies on me for transport so it needs to be easy for her to get in and out of .

Yes ive got an S4 with super sports just wondered how they compared .

Ah Buckets not ideal for the older generation bad enough for me at 45

There will be a nice Sepang RS3 available at Newbury....not long dropped it off. No buckets.
