First Modification Recommendations

Hi,
I love our RS3 and have just started to look around at various options to upgrade / modify the car. Initially cosmetic by changing the wheels to BBS CHR as previously posted but now I want to go further. What mods have people done to their cars that make them better and what hasn't worked?
I'd like to look at the following areas:-
1. Engine management chip - Looking at MTM 410bhp chip at QST and Kim Collins, they always get rave reviews but why is their cost the best part of £1k when every other supplier is considerably less?
2. Air filter - I've been looking at this unit from Revo, any experiences? http://revohardware.com/p/115/revo-air- ... rs-25t-fsi
3. Suspension - I won't be doing any track days and so I'm looking more at adjustability for fast (ish) road driving and maybe lowering a little. There must be a better compromise for UK roads than the standard suspension which is set up for super smooth roads.
4. Exhaust - Would dearly love for Akrapovic to do one for the RS3 at a reasonable cost as I do think they make some of the best systems in the world but as this doesn't look like happening soon has anyone got any recommendations?
Any suggestions or recommendations gladly received, thanks!
