RS3 - checklist when to pick up the car

Hi all, I would appreciate your advice on what to ask for when picking up the car at the showroom. I saw a similar thread relating to the same thing but for an RS4.

The list was basically as follows:

1. Check for damage:
2. Check MOT certificate
3. Check road tax
4. Full set of keys (how many should there be and which types?) 2 REMOTE KEYS AND A LITTLE PLASTIC WALLET KEY WITH TAG
5. Driver's manuals - MAKE SURE YOU GET THE CORRECT LEATHER RS4 EMBOSSED WALLET AND THE HUGE NAV+ MANUAL
6. Manual for Bluetooth system
7. Manual for iPod integration
8. Spare wheel/puncture repair kit (<-- which one does the RS4 have?) I BET YOU ANY MONEY THAT THE Foam IN THE BOOT WILL HAVE PAST ITS USE BY DATE - AN APPROVED USED CAR CHECK SHOULD SPOT THIS - THERE IS NO SPARE WHEEL
9. Tool kit - I DON'T THINK THERE IS ONE
10. Jack (<-- is there one?) - THERE IS NO JACK
11. Bill of sale
12. Service booklet/service history CHECK ITS NOT A DUPLICATE
13. Locking wheel nut key

Additional:
Don't forget to get the Approved Used Car multipoint check documentation and check it's all ticked.

If the dealer has done some work on it, an invoice from service dept to sales should have been raised so ask for a copy.

Some questions come to mind.

What i am most interested from the above are points 9, 10 and 12. Is there a jack and a tool kit in the RS3 ? how much is the foam can supposed to last? What kind of expiry date should it have for a car registered in Oct 2012.

Since this is an approved audi dealership, is it within my legal right to ask for the car to be jacked and view it from the underneath?

Cheers :)

You REALLY REALLY do not need to do that, it depends if they are in the mood, they might fob you off with health and safety bollocks as to why you're not allowed in the workshop etc...
Car won't need an MOT until it is three years old and I don't believe any RS3's are that old yet, to be honest, it is all common sense stuff, just go pick it up. I haven't taken a check list when buying privately, never mind a main dealer.

My rs4 didn't come with a leather case for the manuals, just regular audi case. Not sure what others for. For the Keyes you can check in the MMI how many have been produced so you can be sure there are no spares ones that aren't given to you. At a minimum there are as you said two main Keyes and the backup one

I havent had yet the chance to fiddle with one but the hardware looks pretty much like the A1's MMI - At least from the point of view of the buttons and layout

But it definitely is NOT MMI - different hardware, different software, different map DVD (you would be amazed how many thousands - yes thousands - of Audi owners have bought an MMI map DVD for their RNS-E and found they've just spent £200+ on a coaster).

Tyre foam is usually 3 years so OK on RS3
Just make sure it hasn't been used!
