Re: Its here
On the venture shield I have a question regarding polishing etc
I have it on the lotus and it has obviously helped being on a car used mainly on track but on a normal car that you may care about more how do you polish/detail it etc? Is there any point?

I can't on those pics to be fair. Any chance of one showing the edges?D_K wrote:can u spot the venture shield ?
My mate has Porka Turbo and the factory film has a tendancy to trap rubbish along the edges.

Re: Its here
My understanding is it can be polished by some1 who knows what theyre doing, but it does seem to my mind anyway to restrict what you can do as presumably you have to get some special stuff for it.535dboy wrote:On the venture shield I have a question regarding polishing etc

The one on the lotus has been on for four years now and it is starting to show its age as there is definite difference in colour between paint and shield

Re: Its here
it polishes up well
i use this spray stuff
http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/megu ... riant=1930
obviously doesnt quite have the shine of pure paint, but i repeat ... MILES better than stone chips

Re: Its here
Reckon you could have had it for a mere £1750 or so uplift on the Exclusive paint sheme?535dboy wrote:I adore that colour and was seriously considering for the RS4 although I couldn't tell how similar it was to the sepang I have gone for.
Look forward to seeing it withthe new wheels.
