Still didn't but the order in today as waiting for the dp to get back to me.

SteveCuz: Did you manage to get a discount, i can see £1,500 off on autoebid? Also are you going for any finance? If so what sort of deal did you manage to get? Nothing specific if you feel uncomfortable, but PCP or stright finance?

Without wanting to jump in out of turn, these are full margin cars for Audi, you'll not get a bean off. They don't have to discount, the numbers are relatively low and demand is apparently high.

There's a good thread over on tyresmoke on RS3.

I'd be amazed if this car is available outside of the main dealer network.

I usede to work for a dealer and we had relationships with bulk buyers, we would give discounts on any car to them as part of the agreement. They in turn would shift X number of cars for us each year. Not saying it is going to be the same here, but you might be surprised, there is always one dealer out there who just wants to shif metal.

Not even asking for a discount as such but I am working on a different angle that i can't discuss.

There won't be discounts on this car. Trust me Audi will sell the 500.

I agree with Steve, the 500 will go as will more after that.

Just can't decide. The other reason I like the roof rails is most won't have it and I feel it gives it a mini avant look which I do like.

As for the quilted buckets, yum but £2k for the buckets plus another £2.8 k for the exclusive quilt! Ouch

Sorry didn't answer the finance question - I'll be financing myself.

It says in point 3 of their terms and conditions that they are not responsible for the prices and there is no guarantee they can get a supplier at price quoted.

Ah man don't tempt me. I've got SCZ30 and RS5 5 CUZ. I might just stick with the SCZ30 as that is my main plate but at £255 it's tempting. The only issue is I have to pay loads of fees to get it on a car in Northern Ireland. You have to put it on an english car first.

The thing is I love my short reg and it is also dateless.
