Just noticed that side airbags are omitted if buckets are fitted whilst reading the spec list. PS4. Bucket seats (front) in black Fine Nappa leather with RS 3 embossing with manual adjustment. Includes through-load facility without ski-bag. Only in combination with first-aid kit. Not available in combination with electric lumbar support or storage package. Please note that this option deletes front side airbags and front seat ISOFIX preparation for front passenger seat

£6800 that's with a bit of discount then there's labour to build them up, so when the new rs3 comes out I will make sure the bucket seat option box is well and truly ticked!

Decided that buckets were a must for my 3, so with the crazy cost of factory units and Recaros haven been done before I've managed to locate set of bucket seats out of a McClaren MP4 12c....
Should be fun and games to fit but couldn't sit too high any longer!

Going to lose the heated, electric option but hey ho this is just the beginning of the mods so had to get the driving position spot on first. Next suspension, wheels and tyres
