mare to use as a family car, hence the reason for an RS6. Well thats what I am telling her anyway.
Its ok on smallish journeys but I am a big bloke and with the kiddie seat in the back it does get cramped.
Not sure how it compares to an RS3...so a pointless post really.
thanks...maybe..i guess

you must all be fat ******s
the A3 sport back is only a couple of CMs shorter than an RS2 and people never used to have a problem with the size of that car as a full estate

I can't stand this ore conceived idea that once you have kids you need offroader/people carrier.
I've got 4 kids and the rs4 is the family wagon and does a Stirling job. Thought about roof box but never actually needed to fit one.
When we had 2 kids me and swimbo went a week away and took her Mini Cooper s. thi included a big suitcase, double phil n teds pram, 2x inflatable kids beds, pillows, nappies and all the stuff you need for 2 under 3. Was it tight.. Yes but wasn't a problem.
All that happens when you have masses of space is that you end up filling it with crap you don't need.
When you have a limited space budget it concentrates the mind on what you actually need.
So in my mind 1 kid and 2 adults would be more than fine in a rs3

No, Sport seats are the standard ones and I have the optional full-electric adjustment.

The RS3 interior is some 2cm narrower than the B7 A4 cabin and the same length and I have had two kids grow up in it using Recaro Youngsport seats so I doubt you will have issues with the RS3. I'm moving from RS4 Avant to RS3 and the only bit that is lacking ion the 3 is boot space but the 3's is deeper than the 4.

Something to bear in mind - I am quite broad and couldn't even fit in the buckets!turbo roro wrote:ok, the one I can buy has buckets
