there both 99 ron, shells target ron is 99.5

vpower is the only fuel blended to be 99ron and it comes from only 1 refinery in the UK, tesco's gets there RON up with additives

both have good reports from users, i use vpower as i drive past 4 shell garages everyday, its worth getting the vpower card to get 2p a ltr off



you need help if your putting 95 ron in a car mapped for 98+ :biggrin3:

V bastard also has ethanol now, though not as high as Tesco 99.

obviously T99 ... but that was mapped for 99RON

I think the stock 2.5TFSI is mapped for 95RON

but i only use 99 in the R8

I've recently jumped-ship. After 18 months of exclusively using either Shell (95% of the time) or Momentum occasionally, I've now started on the BP stuff.

Tbh I think the car's feeling more gutsy with BP Ultimate.

Tesco 99 but getting fed up waiting for it to pump each and every time.

When I asked why there is a large delay in it pumping 99 I had the reply "because nobody is stupid enough to buy it"!! :bash:

It's okay for you guy's who don't have to drive 30 miles to get Tesco 99.

Nearest I have is BP 97 10 miles away.
