Iv blasted many top cars with the TTRS with LC drag

As for gear change, yes it holds and this is perfect. Can't tell you how annoyed I was with my s-tronic S4 that changed up for me when I didn't want it to, end up going up 2gears as I would upshift just after it upshifted. Rubbish
Yes that sounds annoying. If I leave mine in M and floor it it changes up at around red line. For 1st gear this is perfect and then 2nd, 3rd you have time to control it yourself.

In my last TTRS I smoked

New V8 M5
V10 M5
V10 M6
Masser Gran Sport
1M remapped
Aston V8 Vantage S

And had the nose up to 80 on a remapped R8 V10 with LC

The M3 CSL (and the E60 M5) have an SMG gearbox which will only automatically change up if the gearbox is switched into A or D. If the gearbox is in manual mode then both the M3 CSL (and E60 M5) will just bounce off the rev limiter and will not auto change up.

I think all those will nail the TTRS rolling start. It's the launch that is sublime.

D_K why do you have a V10 R8 and TTRS? Why would you want to drive the TT when you have an R8 V10.

That's some serious cars.. The book TTRS 0-60 is a couple of 10th's quicker.. Be good to see what 0-60 the RS3's are getting on a 1/4 mile or performance box

I've read some reports on the net that the RS3 is much quicker to 60mph than what Audi state. I can't recall off the top of my head but one timed it at a shade under 4.1 secs and another a shade under 4!

Again, these are just snippets I read on various sites when looking to buy, I have no idea how they were timed and if they are true figures or not so don't shoot the messenger!

There is a vid on YouTube with a shootout between the RS3 and M1, they timed the RS3 to 60mph at well under 4.5 seconds.

Either way, it's an epic motor :biggrin3:

There's a guy on the TT forum running a S-tronic TT-RS and with just the MRC map he was hitting 3.5 Secs 0-60 times (RS3 due to weight should be slightly slower) Never compared times but I reckon my TT-RS before remap felt as quick as my 911 C4S PDK and nearly as quick as my pre 11 Model GT-R after So a remapped RS3 should embarrass quite a lot of expensive machinery out there (even with out a remap there bloody quick)

Evo timed a 3.9 on the 3 and a 4.1 in the wet

There's a vbox pic of a 4.1 run, my old car ran a 4.1 on dynolycious

I get the impression that audi's figures are based on 95 Ron as the car seams a lot faster in reality, I have seen several stock dynos showing around 350bhp on SUL
