Dear Mr Perry,

Our French database has been removed from the system. As the French law has become very strict on the subject of speed camera warning systems we would suggest that you remove the unit from the mount and place it in a suitcase or bag in the boot of your car whilst driving through the country. They have been quite unforgiving for those who have it in the glove compartment of the car.

After that information from Pogo I left my PogoAlert at home rather than risk trying to argue at the roadside with a gendarme.

Will this disc work in my RNS-E in my RE6 C5? It's a generation 1 RNS-E.

Provided you're not running RNS-E software from pre-2005 the map data is the same format.

The disc they have sold me under licence is a manufactured / printed disc not a burnt DVD DL ( had to have the original 2012 disc to get it.

How much did they charge you for the DVD?
