It does appear that a lot of these cars are Friday afternoon/Sunday hangover specials. That's a big worry. Given the price tag, that's unacceptable, and I think your patience is to be commended. I don't think I would be anywhere near as understanding!
I had a raft of issues with my B5 RS4, ended up rejecting it and regretted that to this day

I love the RS3 its close to my perfect car

I think it helps that I went into the car with my eyes wide open, i know german cars often have problems (my R32 blew 2 ecu's)

Still theres the new A class AWD duel clutch AMG next year, but mercs make audi look like honda's for reliability

Mine does seam to have more than its fair share of issues :audibash: :bash:

Strange isn't it, the R32 is seen as rock solid, though I have not long had to replace the head (bit argument with dealer as I think they goosed it after changing rad, water pump and thermostat). That was expensive, 5k book price.....that's another story.

However, I have an RS6 and it's not missed a beat.

Getting Audi UK involved will help, and making Martin Sander aware that one of his premium products is not so good, will also help. They have to maintain the branch image, especially for what should be their premium product range.

I have logged a call with Audi CS, I will give them a couple of days to get things going and then contact him, thanks

Every time I check this thread I get "Clang, Clang, Clang Went The Trolley..." stuck in my head. It's awful and I hate it.
