Glad you bought the RS3 Graeme. I can report your old RS4 is still going strong and sounding great and both me and the missus love it. No intentions of selling anytime soon and saving for a charger! Nothing has broken on it yet. MRC remap fixed the loud cold start. OE airbox fixed the hesitancy.
All I've had to do so far is service it and keep the oil topped up. Fitted those new discs that came with the car this past weekend and changed the fluid and they are feeling nice.
Mileage is now at 106K, so it's slowed down in our ownership.
