RNSE Memorised Track Loss
Tried a couple of hard resets to no avail. Think it may have been clock related....more testing to follow!
Re: RNSE Memorised Track Loss
Oooh, keep us posted, someone else is bound to be suffering too.

iOS 6.1 has been released today, if that applies to your iPod you may want to do the update after the restore.geek wrote:Just doing a restore of the newer larger pod now.

Re: RNSE Memorised Track Loss
I always wait a few days / weeks for everyone else to try out the new firmware before updating and losing some functionality that is quite important to me. Too many times have I rushed in keen for the new functionality and found the new software buggy and regretted it!PetrolDave wrote:iOS 6.1 has been released today, if that applies to your iPod you may want to do the update after the restore.geek wrote:Just doing a restore of the newer larger pod now.

Re: RNSE Memorised Track Loss
Think I may have gotten to the bottom of the problem.
5th Gen Nano defaults to English US when reset; you can stupidly correct the time to UK without changing the language or time zone; the root cause appears to be the date & time format, RNSE doesn't appear to like the US date format of the iPod. After resetting, changing language to English UK (this sets the date format), setting the correct time zone and only then correcting the time the RNSE seems to be remembering the last track played.
I truly am a sad bast@rd.
or as the Mrs says, sad ferking 'geek'
