Brake screech - the final straw

Just to confirm I have had the £18 anti-squeal shimss fitted to my car for the last 2000 miles (2 months) and have had no squealing

I've managed to persuade her that you guys say audi are sorting it at factory level and a solution will be forthcoming shortly! I agree that shims sound like the answer but am reluctant to do anything non-OEM just yet. Meanwhile I've said she can use my Range Rover until it's sorted, so I get to use the RS3 full time (maybe Not such a rush for a fix after all!). I have even started to find the squeal quite nostalgic, it reminds me of my old 993 GT2, the one I wish I"d kept, which used to squeal horrendously (though it could be forgiven!)
