I used ATS. They were very gentle with the wheels too.

I'd be careful not running the correct tyre sizes, I've heard of insurance companies not paying out....

I've had Dunlops in the past and always found them to be quite good, although I can't comment on them on a quattro car...

Have them on the RS6 (as the OEM tyre), no complaints.

Unlike these Contis. Just looked at my fronts....pretty much shot after 6.5k. They will be going soon. Good.

Ha...was going to say lucky I pay £10 for a pair. :beerchug:

Putting more miles on the F1 now and I do notice they seem to break away more than the conti from a standing start but have better turn in grip and less understeer??

I had 19" 235/35 Dunlop Sportmaxx GT's on my Golf R.

They were quite good IMHO and much better than the older plain Sportmaxx ones. Fairly quiet and good grip ... wear rate was quite high though. Having said that the majority of R owners changed to either Michelin Supersports or Goodyear F1 Asymetrics and reported improvements !

They do get reasonable reviews though.
