Hi,

Stoke Audi had a Black and White RS3 on display the other week.

I believe neither had Buckets, but they had Bose. HTH... :beerchug:

Ask for Neil or George in sales though. (they are on the ball) :bigblink:

Cheers

Wayne

Thanks for all your help guys.
Spoke to all the leads given, Black RS3 now on its way in a couple of weeks, can't wait. Almost the exact spec I'd have gone for if I'd factory-ordered - just black pack, rails, privacy. Only thing missing, sadly, is bose but hoping a visit to my local boombox Shop will sort the sounds.
Fantastic deal and great service from the dealer.

Ironically, after all the running around, it has ended up coming from the local dealer, Blackburn Audi.
A couple of cars mysteriously appeared on the system, so we grabbed one of them.

They were having IT isssues accessing the system and seeing the cars in the network so originally it looked like there were none, then a day later loads. Carlisle Audi (same group) experienced the same.

Yes, apparently the uploading of the new A3 knocked the stock of old models (RS included) off the system, they had to use a special code to access them. And yes there were apparently quite a few, mostly red and white ones, which probably also explains the good deals to be had.

So what did you get in the end spec and colour wise?

Pretty simple spec - Black with black pack, roof rails, privacy. With plate transferred onto it it will look pretty much exactly like the S3 it is replacing (a black edition), which suits me just fine, it's actually quite tempting to de-badge it.

Car finally turned up at dealer's today after an unexplained 2 week delay - had a quick butcher's at it, looks even more like the S3 it's replacing than I thought it would (and will be virtually indistinct once the private plates go on) - which is just as I thought/wanted I suppose - and still not sure whether to take the badges off.
I'm also a bit concerned it might be a disappointment after the S3s which I thought were great cars. Roll on next Monday and we'll find out!

Unless you have had a seriously modified S3 I doubt you will be disappointed mate, well, unless you know sweet F.A. about cars that is :biggrin3:

No the S3s were standard. Have also had 2 B5 RS4s, 2 B7 RS4s, and RS6 and an RS6+ though so it has some living-up-to to do!
