Paddle Shifters
Re: Paddle Shifters
Divided opinion then, fair enough. However looking at paddle shifters on Maserati, Lambo, Koeniggsegg, Pagani's and Ferraris they are not that much smaller and some are bigger. Granted the car is not in the same league and perhaps the colour doesn't do them much favours however as much as I have done close ups they are not in real life that intrusive. And they do the job I wanted.
They could be slimmer and I may get someone local to fabricate some based on a similar design. The metal part is interchangable hence the torx screws in the photos.

Re: Paddle Shifters
I don't think the cars you mentioned have wheels mounted, they're column mounted IIRC.P_G wrote:Divided opinion then, fair enough. However looking at paddle shifters on Maserati, Lambo, Koeniggsegg, Pagani's and Ferraris they are not that much smaller and some are bigger.
/EDIT except maybe Lambo... oops.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Re: Paddle Shifters
TBH I looked at those and didn't like the design of either. One too small, the other like said on that thread looked like elephant ears. I prefered the angular and stright edge design than the curves.
Re: Paddle Shifters
Sorry mate but i'm not a fan of those at all
They look too big, Do OSIR not do them?

Re: Paddle Shifters
OSIR ones are no bigger than OEM and didn't solve the issue.
Re: Paddle Shifters
I read with interest as would like some for the '4', saw pic of them on table thought ok then when fitters they don't look quite right.
I would want something a bit smaller and similar to the one the mrs has in the porker
Most others that size are connected to the column as pointed out above
