I've heard that MTM can remap the ECU on the RS3 and get 410bhp and an extra 100nM of torque! This thing is bonkers already but that sounds even better!
As it's an Audi company (sort of, a bit like AMG and Merc) will it not invalidate the warranty?
Anyone know where or who to approach and what costs?
Cheers!!

Re: MTM Tuning?
Yeah, speak to QST. They are the only MTM dealer in the country.

MTM are nothing like like the AMG/M division. That's quattro GmbH's job. I think ABT/MTM are possibly more Brabus/Alpina like.

It won't maintain the Audi warranty. If you map you take the risk. A claim for goosed engine or drive train unlikely to get far. Non related stuff may not cause an issue but there's always the chance....
Also worth a chat with MRC.

Re: MTM Tuning?
Could try ABT tuning as they offer a warranty with their tunes. Check their site as they have certain Audi dealerships that will sort it for you. Big cost though. I was told £4300 for my S4 to 435bhp.

Re: MTM Tuning?
there are many tuners about some far better than others
Mayer who owns MTM was the lead engine designer for audi (think he lead the design team for the original 5 pot turbo)
He had a very strong link with Audi (still does?) and his products did not invalidate the warranty in germany, he was like AMG before merc bought it
If this is still true or not i do not know, but i have seen nothing from MTM to say the warranty is intact if used, I would want something in writing
I used Kim / MTM for my bitrubo S4 and RS4
The RS3/TTRS engine does produce big gains from a straight map, this is mostly down to marketing raining in the power to stop them being far faster than the bigger RS models
my car seams a lot more torquey low down since its software update last week, but this could just be a placebo
rumours are the quattro "mk2" will be based on the A5 (rather than a carbon body) with a 400bhp 5 pot turbo, i must get my name down
oh and APR are working on 600bhp conversions for the 5 pot
