GAP Insurance

Post by Gasman » Tue Dec 06, 2011 9:19 pm

Hi,

I wonder is anyone has recommendations regarding reputable GAP insurance, at of course, a good price.

Audi have priced their cover at £499!!

I also wonder, given the numbers of vehicles around, the RTI cover would be better over RTV, no?

Thanks for your input.

i had to bite my lip when they came to me with there little package of "extras" gap, autoglum and some repaint your wheel nonsense

2 fooking grand for the 3 of them!!

that was on top of the 11.8% apr (i got 6.7% :p)

there still trying to flog me the autoglum ....

sending them link to the above seams to have shut them up about the gap thou

autoglum for £240 here, cheaper than there current super special offer of £360+ vat reduced from £500+vat :audibash:

GAP Insurance

I had the same problem when I brought my last new car, the price for GAP was £650. In the end I got them to throw it in as part of the deal for the car.

Interesting part was when I got the GAP policy, it stated GAP premium as being £25 something.

I'd stay well away from Auto glum.. go see a professional car detailer.. that's what I'm doing with my RS3 :-)
