Delivery is complete!

Post by c_cdk_king » Mon Dec 12, 2011 11:41 am

After an initial deposit in january, delays in the summer and then threathening to delay after the new year, i picked up my RS3 on Saturday. With all the criticism get, my dealer @ coulsdon not only managed to force delivery through and avoid the delay into new year, but also supplied a ipod lead foc (normally £50) and also attempted to get a little model of the car but the company that made them went bust 3 weeks ago, can easily get one on ebay but thought that counts. He stressed again after last few meetings finalising car that mine was first to be delivered in south east, probably is officially in Audi's books but i'm sure there's a few around by now.As for the car, unbelievable!...I've had a few trips over the weekend and i know most peeps will say the best feature is the engine, but it's so easy to cruise in traffic, even the suspension is pretty good considering...Forums are so useful these days, dealer didn't mention launch control but with my previous cars (well the launch control is new to me) give it £1-1,5k miles before unleashing it onto the road, glad to hear any opinions of any RS3 owners that clocked up the miles over the summer and into the winter of what you've done?...

Very nice and well done on pushing the order through, my order has been confirmed at Audi (DE I guess as the UK side were happy) after initially placing my order in March. :audibash:

Orders seem to be filtering though now and not just the speculators receiving their Cars (must have been about 20 cars for sale at independents already)
Looks good in the Red and I like the Plate was going to order RS12AUD but should be taking delivery of mine early January now
