Retro Fit Bose
If I sourced a second hand bose kit is it a straight fit? ie is all the wiring harness in the car for the Bose amp/sub etc?

You don't need Bose...jsut listen to that glorious 5-pot tune!!
In all seriousness though, not sure. Is the stock Audi system not ok?
I have the Bose system and to be honest, I think my stock VW Golf system with the magic of the Parrot bluebox (from the MKi 9200) was brilliant. In all fairness, I have reset the tone settings to "0," just to work in the speakers before driving them, so that may well be contributing to my tonal perception.

No, Audi only fit the wiring for the factory fitted options (with 2 exceptions - heated door mirrors and the US only satellite radio tuner).Dave_Hedgehog wrote:is all the wiring harness in the car for the Bose amp/sub etc?
