Performance Box.....

Post by RSDave » Mon Mar 05, 2012 7:01 pm

Recently purchased a Performance Box (for obvious reasons.... :) and was just wondering if anyone else has had the chance to have a go with one...?
Tried a 0-60 but it was absolutely Pissing down with rain but still got 4.5 0-60 just by flooring it in dynamic...... Launch control and rain didn't go well..... all fours spun for about a metre and got 5.2.....?

I see, I thought it was something to enhance performance! Which was a bit confusing!

Feel a bit of a knob now!

Apologies.

Any noise about the mods they'll be creating'?

yessir

1. tune
2. exhaust
3. intake
4. TVS1900 supercharger kit

Arin from APR has created a thread where he started sharing some information and posting lots of really cool data gleaned from their RS5. Some of it made it onto audirevolution...some of it made it onto A5oc.

I would post it here, but it's a pantload of stuff. Dynos, dyno comparisons, drivetrain loss evaluation, PBOX data. All good stuff.

Just looked into these. I'm really suprised at how expensive they are. Where did you get yours from?

I bought one pre-owned (lol) from a forum member for about 220 pounds. They sell brand new for around 300.

If you post up wanting to buy one, someone will likely sell you theirs. They're weird...once you use it a couple of times, you don't seem to use it anymore. It just sits in a drawer or in the glove box.

Yes I can see your point. Once you know the time then you only really need it if you are modding the car.
