Just wondering how many people have actually got RS5's on this forum? Only aware of Crashmaster's and an Imola yellow one?

I hope so, rarity is one of the things that used to make the 'RS' brand special. You don't want the RS 5 becoming as common as the E46 M3 now do you? You will feel a sense of occasion every time you see another and resale should be higher.

I suppose you do have a point there Amar, only ever seen one other one on the road.....(RS meets don't count) haha, also your RS6 Plus is pretty damn rare only 999 of those, is that in europe or just the UK?

I would say that figure is true. What i like about the Audi RS brand is they do not seem to be bought by d!ckheads who tart them up, ok pepple "dub" their Audi's but the chavs always seem to choose the E36 and E46 3 series and M3. Wonder what it is they love about the BMW brand.

Only 99 'plus' models came to the UK, I think on last count there were only 64 left in the country, and some say Audi didn't even build the full 999 which were allocated worldwide. It is an exclusive club indeed.
Adam - it isn't just chavs who chose E36/E46 Beemers, they are very very good cars. I love the BMW brand, and the E36/E46 are fantastic cars, bought by people who love driving perhaps? Go out and drive a BMW then an Audi and you will have the same revelation I did, I wasn't a BMW fan before I started to drive them. They are hard to beat.
The days when Audi were the discreet third choice after AMG/M are long gone, I see much more tailgaters and arseholes in Audis then I do BMWs. I don't like to stereotype, but I do.

Not saying the chavs only buy BMW's but when they do want to tart up a car they tend to upgrade to a BMW of some sort. E46 maybe a great car but i would rather have the keys to e B5 just for the exclusicvity and the fact people would not realise how quick it was.

I've been tempted to buy both an E46 M3 and B5 RS4 for the price of the plus, best of both worlds. How mad would that be!

How much is a good E46? 11k? Decent B5 is around the same price. Tough call but i would have the 4 rings.

Had mine for just over a month. Sepang blue with all the extras. Came from a 57 RS4 saloon (had it for 3+ years and best car owned so far) and not regretting a minute of it.
The fact that not many folks have them only adds to the appeal. Only seen a white one up here in Aberdeen but suspect there's a few others.
