Flat bottom steering wheel is back and I think the lights are pretty smart. Pretty certain I will swap my current 4 for one of these.

Because? Isn't it the same with all A5s as they have all had the facelift? All they did was change the lights & the steering wheel. RS5s aren't suddenly going to plummet in value, it's the same car.

Just change the grille to a honeycomb for the RS versions. No need for all that chrome

because, in two, three, fours years time ... when people are looking to buy an RS 5 2nd hand ... they will all want a facelift one ....
obviously
even the facelift RS 4 which only included orange to clear indicators and random chrome strips on buttons effect desirability ... and the C6, they changed the nav to 3G ... again, people want post 3G maps
or, they'll have the lesser ... for a discount !

And the discount for this means 'plummet' does it? Ho ho ho.

ok, plummet = strong word
fair enough
but it will certainly have a negative effect which wouldnt have been there should they not facelifted it, they should have held their horses and released it upon facelift

Agreed, it's defo not a positive, I just thought it was a strong word..! Mine is less than 12 months old and I understand I had the first one in the UK so I'm not over the moon...but caveat emptor, cars get updated and I knew the current A5 shape was getting a bit long in the tooth, so it's not unexpected and I don't feel too hard done by from Audi.
No different from anyone else that bought an A5 in the last year. For the £x the residual has dropped it's neither here nor there for me compared to the fun I've had with it..

That's all really matters.
