RS5...ITS BRILLIANT!

The more i drive this RS5 the more i love it !...Just spent 2 glorious days driving cross country and its all making sense...its a stunningly capable car and its sounds superb...Dad was an R8... Mum was an RS4!

Hey forum,
Just joined after looking for somewhere to share my experiences! Ordered an RS5 last week, looking at 3-4 months until delivery, I can't wait!!
Really glad to hear you love it! I test drove an RS5 recently and thought it was amazing. Have you photos?

Sweet looking car! Is that Daytona Grey? I'm thinking Sepang Blue for mine, my only concern is that it might be too bright. What you think?

Its all down to personal choice...I like sepang(thought about it for both the RS6 and the RS5) but to me Daytona suits the RS5 really well with the black optic pack... my second choice was Sazuka grey(metallic white in disguise!!!).

I originally ordered Sepang Blue but changed to Phantom Black.
I think the blue just looked so different in all the online photos. Sometimes it looked amazing but washed out and not rich enough in other photos.
Without easily being able to see one in the flesh - I changed to black and it arrives next week and waiting for months now.....

I know it's a matter of personal taste, but I go along with the comment about sepang, it just doesn't quite do it for me, especially in the flesh. Although I doubt I will go for an RS5, I'm disappointed that mugello blue is only available special order. Along with Nogaro, I consider it the default RS colour, it would be interesting to see how it looks on the RS5.

Not impressed at all.
I've moved onto 2010 997.2 911 C2S PDK, PSE, LSD ETC....

Yes my RS4 was a mugello avant with black optics and privacy glass, when it was polished up it looked great. I don't understand why it's been dropped for the 5, it's synonymous with RS models IMHO
