I cant wait for this car. You can see there is some giggery pokery going on under them wheel arches. looks as though Car magazine mock up pics could be about right.
Its supposed to be shown late this year and out to buy early next year. Rumours on engine are that it will be a twin turbo v8. If you have a look on www.rs6.com there are some interesting posts on the engine and car under a specific rs5 section.SimonH wrote:Really hoping this car will have a turbocharged engine. Any news on when we can expect to see it in the flesh, this year, next year ?, regards, SIMON.

No prices at moment but ive read 55k is about the ball park figure. The dealer I use knows less than I do about the car.SJ-RS4 wrote:Any ides what the price is on release, did Audi tell you when your put your name down?
I think we can be pretty certain that it will be a 4.2 V8 NA but with better breathing than the RS4 due to twin/triple throttles, and producing about 450bhp.SimonH wrote:Ive got everything crossed, and im wishing for a twin turbo V8, with 7 speed S-Tronic, now that would be awesome, regards, SIMON.
I've heard that to be the case, but it doesn't make sense. The R8 V8 has better breathing with dual throttle bodies and a better tuned exhaust header. It still makes the same HP as the RS4.PetrolDave wrote:I think we can be pretty certain that it will be a 4.2 V8 NA but with better breathing than the RS4 due to twin/triple throttles, and producing about 450bhp.SimonH wrote:Ive got everything crossed, and im wishing for a twin turbo V8, with 7 speed S-Tronic, now that would be awesome, regards, SIMON.
