RS5 Cab

Post by RSQ » Sun Aug 07, 2016 4:51 pm

Hi all,

I am looking for a nice RS5 Cab, not white and no silver leather with as many toys as possible, ideally sub 20k miles.

Any good forum cars for sale or people tempted to part with theirs?

There is s nice Daytona on piston heads with ceramics but it is a private sale priced at dealer money IMHO. I may get in touch and see if they will negotiate.

Someone on here has one in Estoril which would be my first choice.....

Current Audis: Audi RS6 PE, Audi RS3 Sportback
Ex-Audis: RS4 B8, RS6 C6, A6 2.7Q, A4 2.8Q

The Daytona one caught my eye last week. A cracking spec and if I was purchasing a RS5 Cab that would be the one.....you don't want a mint low miles RS4 Cab instead do you :bigblink:

May buy the Daytona one it is sweet. Just waiting on a couple of things. RS4 could do but colour and spec important.

Ha! Just saw your RS4. It looks awesome. Prefer a newer car and a tip tropic (thanks iPhone autocorrect). But let me sleep on it!

Oh dear - I think you just said on an RS5 thread that the RS4 is better :bash:

For sure yours looks awesome and over the long term will probably never go below £20k given how good that generation was (and I don't do too many miles in it).

Can you post up some interior shots on your other thread?

C'mon we all know the B7 RS4 is far superior to the RS5 :jump:

I agree I cant see low miles mint cars falling below 20k. There's also the bonus of being in the last of the manual V8s category :biggrin3:

PM your email address and I'll get some additional pictures across for you :beerchug:

RS5 cab should be unacceptable but I can't help sneaking a look at the ads - makes a lot of sense, especially given the fact you can hear so much more.

Yes, pathetic 'torques', hairdresser's car, but there's something a bit bold about this one. Has anybody seen Volcano red in the flesh?

I love my RS5 Cab.. Being that much closer to the noise it makes leaves me grinning like a loon, even on the most mundane of journeys!

Ah, yes - that's what I suspected. I can't bring myself to cross these of my list for that reason! Looks awesome.

Took out one of the ones at Five Oaks Audi. Yes, you feel the weight, but it's great to have experience that V8 like that.

Minimal (or even zero) scuttle shake and the noise with the roof up was better insulated that I thought.

Really, really tempted by it (but probably the one at Lawton Brook). Not sure a 90k 911 GTS is twice as good....
