S Tronic fault means its time to sell.

Post by Noyjatat » Fri Jul 22, 2016 11:36 am

Sorry to say I am tapping out with the the RS5 after a few niggles and an expensive cat change, I now have one of the dreaded S tronic faults. I have really enjoyed owning the car something I wouldn't have thought coming from the B7 RS4 and feel it was a step in the right direction. I will be very sad to see it go.

A 1k banger for now buddy. I feel a deposit saving scheme may be in order as I have been away from a saloon for too long and I have 'buy a new car' on my bucket list so I think I will put some cash to one side and wait for the RS3 saloon.

I've been waiting / looking forward to the rs3 saloon for a while. He facelift photos from an american press do made it look awful but I'm still hoping we get it in the uk and it looks like I expect it to.

Agreed buddy although the lads that attended the Vag Tuner event this year said that was even better. One for your calendar next year.

I couldn't do it. Got it in my head what I was going to do, reinforced it with posts on the forum, drove to the garage, sat in the chair, went through everything, looked outside and couldn't pull the trigger and put her down
