The PES supercharger is not for me, if TTS had developed a kit I may have considered it though.

Why's that Sam? You worried about reliability?
I have to say it drives spot on, great power delivery, almost OEM if that makes sense, but with huge torque

Yes Silas, the reliability of the kit/engine combination and the Gearbox concerns me. I must say that QST themselves are not a worry.

I'm also led to believe that the Stobart B7 RS4 (AdrianD) also went to QST for a PES kit; it melted a piston and ended up at MRC for a TTS kit and promptly sold on afterwards.

I wonder how many miles this one had covered in the end. I think it was quite a few on the day he took me and Riv and a few others out in it. Not seen any other PES catastrophes in this set up but only know of a couple with them fitted and they are low mileage cars. I guess you have got to be willing to take the risk. Was there any truth to the problems with the TTS ones. Heard a couple of lads had big bills and then sold them to get rid.

They stopped development on the rs4/rs5 platform.

How come know one has changed the pistons in the rs4/5 to stronger components once supercharged? Then could change the compression ratio to suit?
from what i have been reading it seems to be pistons mainly failing from the heat.

Zombie thread.

Because changing pistons falls out of the 'bolt-on' mod category.
