The new Beast
The new Beast
Thought I would share a few pics of the replacement for my RS4 B7.
Trim is pretty standard apart from lane assist and distance control.
Full leather interior is it cream or referred to as silver?
Bang and olufsen with 3G+
Found the 4 a lot more exciting to drive but I suppose after 6 years of owning a manual especially an RS4 it is difficult to adapt.
Dont get me wrong the RS5 is a great car but I just prefer a manual shift, but it is growing on me.
Apologies for the quality of the pics but there all taken on phone cam.
Ispiri 20 x 10.5 all round with winter rubber, no spacers.
Standard V Spokes and yes on this day I was out with different wheels on each side V spokes have spacers 15mm front and 10mm rear.
Capristo was next on the list, had a Milly on the RS4 so went for a change, sounds awesome.
Need to get some descent pics on the underside as this is pretty awful
Lowered with adjustable coils, this is as low as I'm going as I scrape over the odd sleeping policeman, these are MTM supplied but once I opened the box I found they were actually manufactured by KW. Both the above were fitted for me by North East Motors Newmachar, came recommended by a fellow member on here.
I would also like to recommend them as they did a top job
Engine bay next stop with the usual R8 caps and an just couldn't resist one of these 'Eventuri intake'.
Onto some minor cosmetic changes.
and rear net, why this is not standard
Did the Interior and reverse lamps with a set of leds courtesy of Trups.
Front and rear Thinkware cameras.
APR map from Revolution247 who also supplied the Ispiri's and tyres.
Got the map more for the security feature but it also removes the limiter, not tested this yet, the limiter I mean.
Since the pics I have also changed the front rings for a set of black, have still to fit the rear.
Also a set of RS puddle lights, not to everyone's taste I know.
Only thing left for now is to have adjustable upper arms fitted as I've heard you get adverse wear with lowering.
Gone for a set of these.
Well that's it for now until I get some more cash together.
On a slightly different note anyone want to swap interiors as I'm looking for black leather.
Don't mind travelling to swap
Thanks for looking.
Comments gratefully received good bad etc.

Re: The new Beast
Welcome buddy. Looks like a great motor and some nice changes already.
Re: The new Beast
Looks lovely, and the wheels suit it really well. Great set of intakes there too and I agree a change of interior colour will improve it further.

Very nice, love the filters too. Where did you purchase them from?
I saw a modded RS5 driving through Aberdeen last Thurday afternoon, looked very similar?

Thanks guys
The filters came straight from the manufacturers http://www.eventuri.net/
There was a group buy running on audizine that I joined.

Re: The new Beast
Very nice, can you still hear the Eventuri intake with the Capristo fitted. It looks a lovely well made item and matches well to the carbon engine cover.

Yes but only when you absolutely floor it.
The new Beast
They are Pirelli P Zeros original from the factory.Noyjatat wrote:What tyres have you got on the v spokes buddy?
Re: The new Beast
Cool, could you do me a favour and take a photo shot of the wheels and post it from rear to front to see how much they stick out? I am trying to get an idea of what size spacers I would like to fit on mine without the wheel coming out too much.
Re: The new Beast
This was the rear with a 15mm spacer which rubbed slightly under load.
The front with 10mm, I ended up swapping 10 to rear and 15mm to front.
Re: The new Beast
Much appreciated buddy. The last time I measured the tyres had too much protection on the side wall and it stuck out a little too much for me. Looks like with the Pirellis on I should be alright to do a similar setup although may go for a 12 at the front. So its a little different now with the swap.

Looks great.
The Eventuri systems are very good, we have sold quite a few now through BMW and Audi.
The Capristo sound lovely on these
