RS5 vs BMW M4 vs BMW M3 (E92)

Quite interesting, as I really expected the M4 torque to pummel the competition as it didn't look that damp.

Bingo!
Audi wins again
I raced an E92 M3 recently on the autobahn and was all over him. Can't wait to find an M4 to race in September on my next ring trip.

To be fair it looks as though the new M4 balled up the launch as no way the E92 would have got away like that.

According to fastest laps the M4 is quicker across the board. Good drag race though.

M4 in the real world is bucket loads faster than the RS 5

On a rolling start it matches a 525PS R8 V10 until 120+

Lots of bad feeling online over this video. The M4 should have won in the dry although some tests have stock cars running the same quarter mile time when tested most have the BMW ahead but around 0.2. It was always going to struggle on a damp track would hate to think how poorly it would have performed on a really wet track. Seems like a handful.

This is going to be an age old argument but the M4 is a great car. Was interesting to see it heads up against the Lexus on Fifth Gear.
