Going to view an RS4...

Hi All,

I'm going to view an RS4 tomorrow, one in question is 62 plate with 4700 miles on the clock. I currently drive an A5 Coupe which is a company vehicle fitted with a 3.0 TDi and the RS4 would purely be a weekend/evening/holiday cruiser and the odd trip to our caravan in Scotland.

I sold my Focus RS in October as I didn't use it enough but feel as if the RS4 is practical for family life and would get the use. Reading mixed reviews on car servicing prices - can someone actually tell me rough prices? Am I being mad buying one?

Thanks

Strange choice given you already have the B8 platform...

surely an R8 would be more of a special wkend toy.

I can't get a weekend/holiday luggage in the back or carry the kids ;-)

A5 isn't the biggest in the back for passengers, think we all know that lol

Fair enough, each to their own, just seems inefficient use of 2cars! The 3.0TDI will prov be real world just as quick as the RS 4

+1 drive an RS4 and let us know your thoughts against the 3.0tdi in normal driving scenarios.

I think fantasy world is the only place a 3.0 TDI would be just as quick, not real world.
