Tyre pressures?

Post by gilford » Fri Aug 02, 2013 10:24 pm

Just had 2 new fronts put oon my RS5 and had the usual TPMS alert. The Sticker states 38 psi but the ride feels very bouncy, just wondering what other owners are running?

For the record I'm on 20" rotors with 275/30/20 P Zero's.

Cheers

I find the same so run 40 on the front and 36 on the back. Feels better that the stock pressures although haven't tried a higher pressure yet and not sure just how much is down to the tyre itself. I know from experience with other cars that the tyre manufacturer/type can make a huge difference to the feel. Just in the process of getting myself some 20" V-spokes and will be looking to move away from the P Zero's to either Michelin or Dunlop or maybe even Yokohama. Once I get these on the car (hopefully in the next few weeks) I'll re-post with the experience.
