the problem with Audi is they keep devaluing the 'RS' marque by doing these stupid things

RS cars have always been in the last part of the product cycle

RS2
RS4
RS6
RS4
RS6
TTRS (gay)
RS3

it could have been so great if they took everything that was so good about the RS 4 and R8 and carried it on

Not feeling the front grille or indeed the new front end of the RS5, not aggressive IMO

Agree the light pattern is great, its the actually size/look of the headlight unit that just seems, wrong.

These are the type of lamp construction I've been referring to for ages. eg when people are looking at the rear LED's for the B7 and I was trying to describe my preference... as B8 / S3 fastback.
If you look closely at these fittings in the showroom, there's a continuos corrugated strip of moulded plastic, that routes the light pretty much wherever it's wanted.
Looks cool.

However..... I'me getting a tad tired of some of the ridiculous patterns I see on cars at the moment. Obviously the Range Rover is a typical example of stupid LED's, but I also see them creeping onto just about everything.... overbright LED's that imho look a bit chav/Halfords. At least they could match the colour temp correctly.
Alpha Romeo are another manufacturer that are putting silly red eye shapes on the rear. Distracting too.
grumble grumble..

Well my RS5 is only 8 months old but I am failing to see much of a facelift here. Slightly different lights and a flat bottomed wheel.

Well, still loving the RS5 and I guess if it drops a little more in value then so be it.

I can't praise my RS5 enough and I have had 13 Audis. If anything, it means I might order a facelifted one at some point and go for a different colour.
