RS5 at Goodwood Festival of speed.
I'm with GTBoy on this.
I have an RS4 and love the quattro and audi build quality. I'm not after the fine razer sharp balance of an M3, I'm not a good enough drive to get the best out it!
test driven to C63, and it left me cold, fast as ****, but just sometine not there, maybe three rings missing on the bonnet?
Just cant have a Jag, thats for my DAD.
Cant get anything flasher, GT conti or maser as my customers wouldn't pay my bills.
Really would want a B8 RS4, but there isnt one.
Goodwood was great as always, not sure white shows off the arches well enough!!

I know what you mean MSB, agree with most of your comments regarding other cars, although I was impressed with the C63. I have an image problem with Bentleys and Masers (amongst others), but for me the big issue with the RS5 is the price when specced properly (see GTBoy). In that range there's a lot to choose from, which I think will affect residuals and despite the projected low build numbers I can't see the car holding its' value in that price sector. I accept that it's not the case for everyone, but re-sale is always a key point for me and on that basis it would have to be a fantastic car to justify the risk. That said, other cars in that bracket (XKR) are hardly bomb proof either, but they're built in bigger numbers, so if you're sensible you'll go late used anyway.
