Finally got an RS

Mmmm.....I used to have a garage door opener on my 1st vRS about 10 years ago. Funny thing was I didn't have a garage and it had a very strange & useful 'secondary' function

Does that actually work though ?

Don't know if the generic ones do. This one was designed for the job so to speak, and definitely worked.

I would add that this was some years ago before the the rozzers cottoned on to what was happening. I think these devices are now flagged up when they are used and penalties are high if caught.

I wouldn't use one now.

Switchable miltek is brilliant actually. It gives it a C63 start up, when in comfort it gives a pleasant drive and you can only occasionally hear it, in dynamic it is really quite loud and obnoxious with beautiful downshifts. I thoroughly recommend it.

Thems the ones. Took mine out before I sold the car. Its in the loft somewhere now.

Nicky, it would be interesting to now what type yours is, i.e. laser type etc and who fitted it (Audi or retrofit). If its a main dealer or factory fit type I doubt it would intefere with Laser guns etc.

I would watch out for plod reading this link.
I would never admit to having one, although I had a friend who fitted the park assist to his RS6 and it worked on one occasion.
I think the French police confiscate cars they find fitted with jammers.
