Pretty good review. "Awesome - An R8 with room for the kids"...they still boringly prefer the M3 - no thanks.....

Even if they get an M3 0.1 seconds to 60 quicker than the RS5 I don't want one....I want the quality, looks, exclusivity, style, class and feel of the Audi.

Worth buying the magazine or reading the online review at least.

New week the RS5 is involved in a road test on B-roads with 6 rivals....

The point they make, it does not standout enough as being 'special' from an A5 ...

I would definately agree with you Andy. When 'we' visited the Audi factory earlier in the year, I walked past two on the way in & had to do a double take to see if they were RS5's. Never have that problem with the previous RS's.

Maybe that's the point?

For £60K plus I would want it to look special tho - just dosen't have the RS DNA factor for me...& don't get me onto to that crap looking steering wheel either...looks like it was lifted out of an A3 TDI...

Sensible money would be on an R8...

I do agree, the dealer principal at my local dealer is driving around in a sepang blue one, I walked past it without realising it was an RS5. To make matters worse, you can now option the RS wheels on an A5.

Krikey, that's a joke. At least when the RS4 came out they kept the wheels to that model for a couple of years before they let the style go on all and sundry!

I think I'll be sticking with my S5 for a bit.

Its funny really but how can you compare these 3 cars. Iv been in all except the latest M3. The c63 is just a pure animal, all those are RWD too. Personnel as said elsewhere, the RS5 should have been a V10 or at least a bi-turbo V10 same as RS6, now that would have been a different story.
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar
