Been told by Audi dealer this morning, that they had received an e-mail from Audi, stating that some magazine had produced a mock up of an RS5 that doesnt exist. But if does come out like that as described, then, yes please, regards, SIMON.

Oh its defo fake. If you look at the discs in the first pic, they are not the same as in the last pic, They have chopped an rs6s wheels in with probably s5 brakes. the lines around the bottom of the arches dont look correct, the lines around the front end and lightslook fake too.
The first pic though reminds me of the original quattro. All they have to do really is make the arches flare out and make sure the wheels fit the arches perfectly and it will look superb.
Id heard that Audi had comented on it as being fake which is what they should do, too many mags make up a headline like this withmock up pics to sell mags.

Looks like an S5 with a spoiler... :|
Nothing special if it is to carry an RS badge IMO.

Well it is based on an s5.
Did you not notice n the photo chopped pic the quattro esque wheel arches and rs6 alloys, lower stance, rear wheels that actually fill the arches.
RS models are traditionally more subtle looking performance cars and have never been mad with styling so dont see what you you are refferring too. Are you sure youre not thinking of Fords RS?

I hear what you're saying, and agree; however, it is my understanding (or opinion) that the RS models were to be subtle (as you state) but also stand out from the S model, which in turn is the sportiest model of that particular model range.

In this case, to me, it looks too much like an S5 - looks more like it should be an S5+.

My opinion of course though... :)
