Yep - that'd suit you Paz ... it's definitely a girls/lady-boys/pre-op transexuals car.

Jules I feel sure you'd struggle to keep up with me in one of these chic cars, all that excess weight you're carrying can only blunt the performance of your thristy S4. . . I'd let you catch up though

Thanks for sticking up for me DavidT, I'll do that French Polishing job for you at the weekend :o

Gladly ... he's all yours Dave! (share him with Damian)

Aaah - the naivety of youth ... :!:

the performance of your thristy S4.
What's a "thristy" S4 - is that some kind of fag euphemism? :sekret:

Back on topic:

I know it's only a 4 pot but what a good car in performance terms. Worthy of the S badge.

Yeah - just under 1400kg and a 0-62 in 5.2s (5.0 for the S-tronic) - not bad at all.

Sounds like it will be a corker of a car, light, agile n fast.
To make allowance for the high torques produced by the TFSI engine in the TTS, the drive train has been reinforced as required.
Hmmm, like the RS6?

You only need to look at Imprezas and Evos to see that turbo-charged 4-cylinder cars can have pretty insane power figures with a bit of tinkering!

About time there was an S/RS TT in my mind. Nearly bought a 225 a few years back, but even mapped to 265 I knew it wouldn't be enough.

Cars have to be faster than they look for my taste and the TT has previously been the wrong way around.

Looking forward to it.

270-280 BHP from a 2 litre engine is standard fair for Evos & Imprezas for a very long time (early 90s).
