FON.

Same motor that's in the B6/7 S4, aren't there better mods than listed above? A supercharger must be one of the better mods, ne?

Thats definatly at the top of the want list for mine but funds wont allow at the moment.

Current mods made to the S6 are 20 inch rs4 style allys and both rear silencers removed by the last owner. I also fitted a Mk1 RNS-E and OEM bluetooth strait away as i had the VW equivilent in the passat and missed it.

Im currently away in afghanistan so mods are on hold until im back but so far i have bought some eibach coilovers and an RS6 option MFSW for it. Also on my shopping list before i get back is the following:

> Q7/toureg/cayenne front brakes
> external DVD player (RNS-E does not play dvds)
> screens for the kids in the back
> dectane LED rear lights

With regards to the discussions on the first page i would love to have an RS6 instead of the S but as mentioned its out of my budget at the moment. I had the choice between getting a dog of an RS6 and having no money for the inevitable mountan of bills (even doing all the work myself), or for the same money i could get a well looked after S6 with decent spec and have money spare to modify the above bits and clear the credit card debt i had at the time (A move which helped slide the V8 past the wife :sekret: ). It was a no brainer really. If i was worried about fuel consumption i would have kept the 57 plate passat diesel i had before

You have bought an RS6 mfsw? Urgh those are shocking. Only one person I know has one, most change to 3 spoke wheel.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

Two now :)

I honestly dont mind the look of the 4 spoke wheel as long as its the perforated RS6 version and not the poverty spec one. Id prefer a 3 spoke paddle steering wheel but i hate not having steering wheel controls.

if anyone whos recently changed to a 3 spoke still has the old MFSW controler and clock spring let me know :)

The last person who sold one (amar) pretty much had to give it away and think all the bits went with it.

Hi Amar, nice motor :o)

What sort of money you looking for for the ARBs? I'm not looking to spend money on the car but... it's sort of making me do that... :o) (apart from stopping at every 4th fuel station lol) :audibash:

PM me if you prefer

Cheers!!

RNSE, RS6 zorst, Deck, Rims, RS6 boot spoiler.

S6's are a much better car than the RS.
Reliable, NA throttle, grt soundtrack, no drc or box woes.
Enjoy!

They still have box woes, worse fuel economy as the revs sit higher at 70/80 MPH due to the different gearing vs the RS, a mapped hot hatch will be as quick and the brakes aren't that good. I've had both a C5 S6 and C5 RS 6 and there's no way the S6 is the better car, better value? Maybe... But with that in mind the D2 S8 is lighter, has 20 BHP extra, loads more standard kit, handles better and is built 10x better too.
