Time for a change if your interested

Post by TiTony » Mon Jan 17, 2011 9:08 pm

I'm going for a slight change and looking for an S8. I have found several I like so it's time to get rid of my 4.2 A6 Avant 2002. It's dressed up like an S6 (cos couldn't find an 02 when I was looking for one) with OEM grills, mirrors and comp alloys. 105k on the clock and thousands of pounds shown on my receipts. Dark blue with vanilla leather. Might advertise it next month but thought I'd test the water.

Well, this is the last shape of the C5's and they seem to be selling at just over 5K but as it's been my favourite for 3 years and the bigger saloon has become more obsessive for me. In this case I'm probably only looking at around 4.5k and I'll give a full health check by my trusted local Audi specialist if it's around that that price. If it pops off at 4.5k I'll get the wheels refurbished before a sale as well. If nearer 4 then the wheels can be left as they are. I just like them immaculate but they are not quite at the moment.

Tony, I did not know you posted this!

For anyone interested in this car, I can confirm this car is the business!

I am a self confessed Audi anorak and also own a 4.2 A6 avant, with RS6 front and rear bumpers, RS6 exhaust (like Tony's) and genuine RS6 alloys - which nicely fill those monster arches!!!

If you want one of these beasts - you should give Tony's a look - one of the later ones and a lovely, unusual blue colour.

Good luck with the sale and when you go S8 hunting, can I come?
