The dealer, despite being warned 24 hours in advance had not even bother to take it down off the display ramp so could not even start the engine. Did not matter as it had the following:
bad points
- 10k more miles than advertised on autotrader
- registered later than told over the phone
- exhaust was virtually shot away with rust and looked like some monkey with a blowtorch had tried to repair the massive holes in it
- some of the worst paint repairs I have ever seen
- rear wings had been poorly repainted
- drivers side rear wing had been painted in a silver textured paint that is usually used on the very lower chassis sills (painted up the wing to near the fuel cap!)
- did not have FASH as advertised
- badly scratched under door handles and on front wing
- front, rear and side trims / bumpers had been resprayed poorly and all the laquer had cracked and started to flake
- black shims behind the rear passenger windows had flaked and bubbled
- cambelt changed at 76k, but no mention of water pump or any other belts or thermostat
good points?
- interior looked ok, little bit greasy on the dash probably from the mechanics using it
- recaros were in ok nick
- alloys (std 17's) were in fair condition
That was pretty much where I gave up and walked away...
car was with a non-audi dealer in congleton on a Y plate. 110k and wanting £9995k

pretty frustrating as I had rang a few times to clarify the condition and paper work!
