RS4 WHEELS? will they fit the S6

My friend has upgraded his wheels to MTM's on his RS4 2006 and has offered me his old wheels, will they fit a 2001 S6. I have been lead to believe 2003- RS6 ones would fit but missed out on a set over xmas on ebay. many thanks all.

Have just got around to fitting 2006 19" RS4 alloys to my 2001 S6 and they fitted with the help of some beefy 20mm TUV approved spacers, although i think the car needs to be lowered a bit as it seems a little to high. Anyone got any info on aftermarket suspension. thanks
