Audi S6 vs BMW 330i??

What's up with those BMW 330's? are they really very fast cars or is it my S6 that has a problem? I raced, well.. not exactly raced but I had two runs with 2 diffirent BMW 330i coupe's, the first one I was behind him in a stop light, when it turned green the chase was on, I was thinking(I'll take'em easily) but to my surprise I couldn't! we were doing about 115m/h or 180km/h when I had to slow down for my turn going home. up to that speed we had 3 car lengths between us all the way. The next one was just yesterday, this time he was behind me, almost same result! but this time up to 130m/h or 210km/h and I was leaving him very slowly.
BMW 330i coupe: 3.0L 6 cylenders, 225 horsepower, auto trans.
in both races the transmission was in "D" position with the traction control "ON". I mean.. even though, the S6 has 340 horsepower?
ANY COMMENTS PLEASE?
NOW I'm AFRAID OF the BMW 540i!!!

Not sure but my S4 2.7 Bi-turbo shows the 330 and 33d a clean pair of heels......

I would imagine that the S6 is a bit heavier than the 3-series, and the BMW is RWD whereas the S6 is Quattro (= more transmission loss) but I reckon you should still pull on him.

Consider taking it to a specialist (or back to Audi if it's under warranty)
