heated rear seats or not?

I just lifted the rear seat base in my S6, the base seems to be wired for something. I don't have the rear heated seats but am wondering what else the wiring is for. Anyone any ideas, is there any way to check. Also the surround around the rear heater vent isn't carbon fibre like the rest of the car, so I'm wondering has this been replaced at some point..
