Long life oil or normal interval changes?

Post by technics100 » Fri Nov 14, 2008 3:21 pm

My S6 has been on long life servicing for most of its life. But at the last service normal oil was used according to the book. This was done nearly 10k ago so its due a oil service soon. Should I go back to long life servicing or stick with fixed intervals? Also how do I change the service light etc to suit each? I have vag-com, is it a matter of using that? There is 80k on the car by the way

cheers

Its up to you and depends on your miles i would guess.

I only do 5-7k a years so long life suits me fine. Just change it every 2 years
