Tool kit

and another one from me

Can anyone tell me what the tool kit was that came with a 2000 S6, was it in the wheel or the compartment to the left hand side of the boot, would this be similar

got the tools to change the wheel alright, just want soemthing that doesn't rattle round the boot the whole time

Mark, i think you'll find it came fitted in the spare wheel consisting of jack, spanner, scre driver etc.
That's where mine is :)

The tool kit in my 2000 s6 avant is is a plastic hinged case the fits into a metal frame behind the passenger side hatch in the boot .

so either, or then

rallye does your kit look like the one i've attached the link for. I had a look in the compartment this mornin, it would be quite tight and the CD multi changer is in there

Yes the one in the link is the same as mine it fits in the top section above the cd changer slot, theres a bit for the catch on the case to clip it in to the holder.

oh just a quick note that the tool kit I got from ebay didn't fit over the CD player unforunately, it was too big, but it did fit under the spare wheel in the well, so I was happy enough that its not rattling around in the boot anymore
