Hi guys,
I was thinking of getting another B7 RS4 after writing mine off in June but I'm tempted to look at a B8 S4 for the newer technology, cheaper tuning potential etc etc.

Can anyone show me some pictures of their cars with lowered suspension, and other mods?

Also if anyone has some 'actual' figures after the car's been mapped, exhaust etc. that would be fantastic.

I don't think I'll get anywhere near the aggressive stance of a B7 but I'd like to see what's achievable.

Also what spec would you say are 'essential' in the B8?

Probably differential and drive select but I can't confirm as I don't have these
Tech pack low or high


Also the exhaust on the facelift sounds pretty good if you are considering a new one.

Got a budget of £30k max, £27k would be preferrable

I had a look at S4 around the time I bought RS3. Looking at these 2, I suggest the saloon to more focused on performance, with SS seats and 19" and it has B&O. The sports diff and drive select appears to be a nice to have also.
If you are bothered about the road tax costs avoid a manual avant as it is over the 225 threshold.

Tax isn't an issue as I'm used to the higher bracket. To be honest I haven't seen anything anywhere that ticks all the boxes. I'm sure that if another B7 RS4 popped up with the right spec at the right price I'd snap it up but there aren't too many out there.

Not sure how long I will be able to keep mine as it looks increasingly likely I will need something I can tow my track toy with, if you are looking for a low mileage 30k with new disks and pads all round, just serviced, no advisories, full carbon clean, 2 years Inchcape warranty. Glass sunroof too.

Still really don't want to sell as it took me a year to find it.

Range Rover looks the best option.

Like Misano & Sprint I love Imola but couldn't own one.

Defo edging toward Daytona (again) or Mugello.
