Hey all

Long time lurker. My S4 Avant will be 3 years old at the end of Oct so I've started to think about extending the warranty. I reckon I will be keeping it for another year atleast so was wondering what recommendations people have. Local dealer is getting back with a price (Macc Audi), but doing the usual google search pops up some pretty crazy prices for a years warranty (Ranges from £1200-1600). What sort of price should I be looking at?

Seems a heck of a lot for just a years coverage

Cheers

there is a website

Audi should write to you with your log in details

there are difference levels of cover available with different excesses

prob range from £750 - £1,500

Hi. Same situation as you as my S4 avant 3yrs old this month
Unlimited mileage cover was quoted as about £900 with no excess. I've gone for a £250 excess and brought cost down to around £550. That's pretty reasonable IMO. Includes Audi assist in UK/ Europe

Dealer got back with:

"For one year it is £576 and two years £844, this includes breakdown cover and MOT insurance which offers £500 towards any work that is needed"

It has to have been main dealer serviced and also main dealer fixed throughout the warranty.

I presume its their own warranty (Inchape?) in which case I emailed back to find out more info (What is and isn't covered).

yes the official Mondial product is one a year by year basis

if they are offering you 2 years, its a different warranty

Yep its an Inchape one they have offered me. Price seems ok, but they don't cover the sat nav it seems.
