Interesting little run in with a 2010 Cayman S.
Both floored it coming out of a roundabout. I was in 2nd and started to pull away but it was barely noticeable to be honest.
Next roundabout, he clearly had more confidence to push into and out of the roundabout so I moved across. This time on the straight in third he started to pull away. Guess it is his weight that took him past me at higher speeds.
Not bad for an estate vs a sports car. I would have like to have got him at the lights and tried launch control.

Weight is much less a factor the faster you go.
In this case I suspect the smaller and more slippery shape of the Porsche helped.
